Cindy Saracco creates hand made pottery at her home studio in California. After crafting pieces on a pottery wheel, Cindy frequently alters forms to enhance their function and add visual appeal. Many items are carved, incised, or reshaped by hand, and some feature custom-textured handles or other attachments.
Cindy is an alumni of the San Jose City College ceramics program and a member of Blossom Hill Crafts. She has been making pottery for 30 years.
Three of her pieces are included in "The Art of Crafts" juried exhibit in Santa Clara, CA. A sampling of her work is available for sale at the Triton Museum Gift Shop in Santa Clara, CA.
In addition, Cindy will be participating in the Triton Museum's Holiday Gift Fair from 10 am - 5 pm Nov. 6 - 7 at 1505 Warburton Ave., Santa Clara, CA. She will also have an exhibit and items for sale at the Art and Antiques Faux Roadshow at the San Jose Country Club on Sept. 19. (Advanced purchase of tickets are required for the Sept. 19 event; Google "art antiques faux roadshow san jose" for details.)
All functional ware is lead-free and suitable for use in microwaves, conventional and convection ovens, and dishwashers.
