I began studying pottery in Leland Michigan where I worked with the same professor for 10 years. I later moved to Eugene Oregon and attended the University of Oregon where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Art. While at the University of Oregon I found my calling in custom made pieces and functional art. My greatest pleasure in creating art is to know that I have produced a piece that will not just sit on a shelf but will be used and that someone will be getting enjoyment from my work. I am currently attending Boise State University where I will continue to develop my own personal artistic sense while attaining my Master’s in Fine Arts.
